Patients expelled from India to obtain free treatment

The chief minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, ordered a free treatment of patients returning from India due to the tension of bilateral relations.

After the recent epidemic of tension between the two countries, Pakistani patients were returned from India without completing their treatment.

It was decided to ensure the treatment of patients who need transplantation and suffering from various diseases in the province.

The chief minister ordered the authorities to ensure the free treatment of return patients after incomplete treatment.

She swore: “Patients returning from India will in no case be left alone.” She has published instructions to heads of the Department of Health in this regard.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also discussed with the President of the Assembly of Punjab, Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan and the Sardar Muhammad deputies Asim Sher Maken and Khurram Khan Virk, relating to the projects of public well-being, national and political affairs, budget and development.

She said the provision of public services would be accelerated throughout the province.

At another meeting, the chief minister appreciated the Lahore police for limiting crimes in Lahore.

She said: “The commendable performance of Lahore’s police operation in” the crimes index “has made it a safe city compared to London and New York.
