Patrick Beverley never received the honors of the NBA All-Star and did not play in the league during a calendar year. But the former Milwaukee Bucks player remains one of the most frank voices in basketball.
The Atlanta Hawks goalkeeper and the Quadruple All-Star Trae Young became the last target of Beverley’s criticism. Beverley initially questioned the level of intensity that some NBA players have apparently in the annual League stars match. Beverley juxtaposed his theory with the perceived effort that many of these same players exhibited during races open in gymnasiums across the country during the offseason.
“Because All-Stars takes the game for granted. Not 1 All-Star on the field. Good Bump,” wrote on X last week.
The message sparked a strong response from Young, who asked Beverley to “relax” and let the players speak for themselves. A few days later, Beverley mentioned Young in an episode of “The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone”.

“I don’t think he won enough to talk to me like that or tweet me like that,” said Beverley.
“He went three times in the playoff series. I went to the new qualifying series [times]. He is in the NBA seven years. My first seven years, I did not miss the series series at the Western Conference at all, “he said.” His refutation will probably be: “Yeah, you were not the main player of the team.” Absolutely right. But that’s why it’s a team. “”
Beverley also noted that he had conversations with former Hawks players who competed alongside Young. Beverley quoted the problems of alleged leadership of Young when he mentioned that many of these athletes did not like to play at Atlanta.

“They don’t think he’s a good leader. They don’t think he’s a good teammate. … Trae, you could score all the points you want,” he said. “You could earn all the money you want. You might have all the main aids you want. You could do all of this. If you don’t win, this S – cannot have any importance. If you don’t win, when you retire, it will forget your name. Quick too.”

On Wednesday, Young went to his social media platform to approach Beverley’s comments. During the almost 12 -minute video, Young suggested that Beverley “does not know what it is” to be in its position.
Young also asked Beverley to appoint the former teammates who, according to him, had problems during their stay with the Hawks.
“Set up your source. What teammate said [you] That these are the Trae Hawks, aren’t they the Atlanta Hawks? “Said Young.” Because I would tell you myself, I have a lot of teammates with whom I stay in contact. A lot. Many I know you know. So I want you to express your source. “”
Young also targeted Beverley’s emotional reaction to the Minnesota Timberwolves defeating Los Angeles Clippers in a game tournament match in 2022. Beverley played for the Timberwolves this season, but wore a clippers jersey in the previous four seasons.
“We are not even going to talk about how we celebrate the victories of the game,” he said. “I win game games on the road, and I’m ready to go to the playoffs. You win home game matches, and you stand on the table of the marker acting as if it was a championship. We celebrate different victories too.”
Young ended with declaring that he has “nothing other than love” for Beverley and suggested that he would be ready to speak to the former Bucks player.
The Hawks social media team jumped into the fray by sharing a compilation video that highlighted the young score while Beverley was playing Defense.

Beverley added more fuel to fire Thursday accusing young people of having set up “empty statistics”. Beverley also targeted Young’s capacities on the defensive side of the court.
“Humble. Kiss constructive criticism,” said Beverley. “Go better and move the F — Activated. We don’t have to continue to come back like that a debate on Youtube Motherf — G. As if it is not so deep.”
Beverley continued to take the management of Young and said that the 27 -year -old guard prefers to move away from the team. “Whenever we see you, you train in another place. We never see you in the Hawks arena that trains,” he said.
Beverley said he thought that exchanges could serve as a source of motivation for young people.
“No matter how it goes, it’s going to be good that comes out,” said Beverley. “Anyway. I hope it’s motivating. I hope you will arrive at the end of the year and that you are fighting for a Motherf — ING in the playoffs.”
The youngster collected an average of 25.3 points and 9.8 assists in seven regular career games against Beverley.
