Patrick Mahomes officially has a new look.
The star quarter of Kansas City chiefs unveiled its new haircut over the weekend, showing a brutal start of its previous style. Mahomes no longer has his signature Mohawk, a decisive characteristic of his image during the first eight years of his career in the NFL.
Now he has a simple radiant style with a melted on the side.
Barber Dejuan Bonds de Mahomes, who has cut the hair of a quarter since his year recruited in 2017, told PK Press Club Digital the possible reason why Mahomes chose to go with such a radical change.

Bonds added later that frustration “perhaps” played in the decision for Mahomas to cut your hair in such a different way, but cannot say it with certainty.
Bonds also said that Mahomes went for a more “adult” and “mature” look with this new style.
It was not the first time that Mahomes offered the idea of a radical change of hairdressing in links. The hairdresser said Mahomes had previously mentioned the idea of obtaining a shorter haircut when the quarter-rear was preparing for the birth of his first child, his daughter Sterling, born in February 2021.
