The Chiefs have reached the AFC Championship every year since 2018 and have won the AFC West division nine straight years.
Mahomes entered the game bruised and battered as Kansas City struggled throughout the season. Between injuries and players being held off the field for disciplinary reasons, the Chiefs looked nothing like the Super Bowl contending team of the last five years.
