Patrick Mahomes approached the possibility of playing at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games for the Team USA Flag Football Team.
The Kansas City chiefing superstar was supposed to be a potential option to lead the United States during the very first Olympic flag football competition.

However, Mahomes did not seem interested in the role when it was questioned on Thursday by journalists.
“I’m probably going to leave this to the youngest. I will be a little older when it happens,” said Mahomes.
In the summer of 2028, when the matches took place, Mahomes will be 32 years old and a few weeks old in September.
Mahomes previously suggested that he “would like to” play the Olympic Games, but wondered if he had the necessary skills and also expressed his concerns about his age in August.
“There is the need, I just don’t know if my skills are what is required for Football Drapeau,” said Mahomes at the time via beautiful kicks.
“First, I’m going to have thirties at that time and then it’s a lot of scrambling on the QB position. It’s not just sitting there. And then I’m sure more athletic quarters could go out. I could be a coach. Do you get a gold medal to be a coach? Maybe I could be a consultant for the team.”

Nfl owners unanimously Approved players in football flag at their meeting earlier this month.
Last month, the NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said that the interest in participating in the summer Olympic Games was a hot topic in the League, adding a resolution on the issue could be to come.
“Well, I have heard many players directly who want to participate and represent their country, be it the United States or a country from which they come,” Goodell said in April.

“I think that is something with which we will continue to discuss, not only the union, but also the clubs. I think the two are things that we will probably resolve in the next 60 days.”
The other players who have expressed their interest in participating in the Olympic Games are Tyreek Hill, Aaron Jones, and Kyle juiceczyk. The quarter of the Philadelphia Eagles, Jalen Hurts, who won the Super Bowl in February, was also recently tabule the football ambassador for the flag for the matches.
