Patrick Mahomes simply looked at his long relationship with Brittany Mahomes now.
While he was sitting for a conversation with PEOPLE The magazine, the 29 -year -old NFL star said that he and Brittany have “definitely” have linked to their shared sports dreams when they were both going to Whitehouse High School in Texas, as a student.
“There is no better feeling than having someone by your side which is just as competitive as you and supports you in everything you do,” said Patrick, whose woman is a former football player and current owner of Kansas City Current from NWSL.
“Whether she is in football or in me in football or baseball, we both understood the level of commitment it takes,” he added.
The football player also explained how he has not changed much since high school, describing himself as “definitively competitive, and still working to improve” in his adolescence, also mentioning: “I think that many students can refrain from wanting to work hard and have fun.”
When asked for his best memories of Whitehouse High, Patrick admitted that they came mainly on the football field.
“It is difficult to name just one [favorite memory]But I know that many of my memories were Friday evening under the lights, “he recalls.” There is no feeling, especially in Texas High School football. “”
It is relevant to mention that Patrick and Brittany began to go out together in 2012 when they were adolescents at the Whitehouse High School.
When they went to separate universities, the two athletes continued their path in sport while maintaining a long distance relationship with each other.
After a decade relationship and welcoming their first child, Sterling Skye Mahomes, in 2021, the couple married in 2022.
Patrick and Brittany then welcomed their son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, in 2022 and had their daughter, Golden Raye Mahomes in 2025.
