One day when the course of the Oakmont Country Club ate some of the best golfers in the world, the Liv golf star, Patrick Reed, only obtained a feat in the American open history before him.
Reed has only made the fourth double eagle, more commonly known as Albatros, since the US Open began to keep registers more than four decades.
Albatross cannot be accomplished on a hole by 5, and Reed looked at the long fourth hole in Oakmont when he found himself at 286 yards and 3 woods in hand.

Looking at Reed’s face, he knew he had shot his golf ball as he looked at him to the green. But the ball continued to get closer to the hole, and he sank for Reed for two on his dashboard.
When the spectators applauded, Reed seemed amazed at first. He reported to those who could see green to tell him if it came into it. When he realized what he had done, Reed couldn’t help but smile.
Rory McILroy among the best golfers struggling with an oakmont perfidious when opening the opening of us open
The last player to make albatrosses at the US Open was Nick Watney in 2012 at the Olympic Club. Shaun Michael (2010 at Pebble Beach) and TC Chen (1985 in Oakland Hills) were the other two to do so.

Reed was 1 earlier in his round, but that quickly sent him to the ranking at 2 sous.
Many golfers who finished their first round during the third major of this year wanted to hit a shot like Reed given the treacherous conditions of Oakmont, including glass -shaped green vegetables and thick raws, have tested some of the best in the game.
Rory McILroy was among them on Thursday, carding a 4 round after collapsing on the nine of the rear. Shane Lowry launched a microphone near the green by frustration on his shot of pieces of pieces due to the rough thickness. He finished 9 for the day.
