The third episode of Peacemaker Season 2 made its debut on streaming services around the world – and that has just revealed why Emilia Harcourt has always rejected the romantic advances of the holder anti -hero.
Complete spoilers immediately follow For the last episode of the Hit Hbo Max Show. Return now if you haven’t looked at it yet.
The third chapter of this season, entitled “ Another Rick Up My Sheve ”, drops a major bomb which adds a new layer of enormous – of complexity to “will”, is not the dynamic between the peacemaker, the real name Chris Smith and Harcourt.
It has everything to do with one of the best HBO Max Shows HBO cameos. The individual in question? Rick Flag Jr, who was played by Joel Kinnaman in 2016 Suicide team Film and 2021 The suicide team movie.
Before Pacifier 2The exit from the industry suggested that Kinnaman will appear in the television series DC Universe (DCU). His appearance in “ Another Rick Up My Sheve ‘via a flashback scene, then, will not be a shock for anyone who has seen this rumor.
What East It is important, however, what the third entry of this season establishes as soon as it begins – is that Flag Jr and Harcourt had no rope attached to sex before the events of events The suicide team. For more details on the place where this film is part of the chronology of the complicated DC film, consult my DC Films in order.
But I’m getting lost. Harcourt clearly indicates to report JR that she is not interested in having a real relationship with him. She also reminds him that he in fact sees a witch called June, that DC fans will know by his enchantress pseudonym meta-human, so he chewed technically in June with Harcourt. However, it is also clear that, despite their suggestion of being friends, Harcourt has developed a few feelings for him in the midst of their situation.
This is important with regard to his reluctance to obtain with Smith. Remember, The suicide teamThe third and last act, Smith Kills Flag Jr. Smith does it after the latter threatens to flee highly sensitive information, which Flag Jr finds on a hard drive, to the press on the experiments carried out on the island of Corto Maltese. According to Peacemaker’s words, the flight of the said Intel would cause an international crisis. Long short history: The combat pair and Smith ends up stabbing the JR flag through the heart with a broken wall tile.
Since Harcourt knows that Smith is responsible for the death of Flag Jr, he is perfectly logical why she gave him the cold shoulder for a large part of the first season of the series. She has since been warmed in Smith, but her rejection in progress of her romantic advances confirms that she would feel not only guilty of having obtained the man who killed her former lover, but also to put herself in the reticle of a flag of Rick Sr avenger, who pumps a lot of Argus resources to find and eliminate Smith.
Things become just as complicated for Smith in “another Rick Up My Sheve” too.
After having discovered a parallel world via the quantum unfolding chamber in episode 1 of season 2, then going to this last alternative universe to send drunk sms of Harcourt of this dimension, Smith spends almost the entire episode 3 in the said parallel universe.
Unfortunately for Smith, a version of Rick Flag Jr is always very much alive in this universe, although the one that is more a goofball compared to the alpha male that we have seen in Suicide team And The suicide team.
Naturally, Flag Jr being alive in this alternative reality active Smith’s SSPT on his murder of DCU JR flag, which leads to a brief embarrassing conversation between them. To make things worse, the flag of this JR kingdom also went out with its version of Harcourt, which had also been released (and since broken) with the peacemaker of this universe, which has since been killed by the Pacific of the DCU during the first of this season. If we thought that the dynamics of Smith and Harcourt was complicated in the best of cases, the introduction of this other dimension and the DCU peacemaker will only make things even more complicated for all those involved.
We will see how Flag Jr’s Ghost, as well as Smith’s travels in this parallel world, continue to affect Smith and Harcourt’s relationship while the chapter of the DCU One Show continues.
