Pebble teases a major announcement
As for what Pebble will announce on March 18, it is impossible to say, but we have ideas according to what the company has already said this year.
In January, Google made the PEBBLE source code available for download, and the founder Eric Migicovsky confirmed that he was working on a new smart watch using Pebbleos shortly after.
In February, he confirmed that his last project would be “a pebble and almost exactly as you remember”. He also confirmed that it will include the display of electronic paper always on, a long battery life, buttons, a simple user experience and a piratable that made the original pebble line so emblematic.
“Please don’t hope that the new watch will have a new X / Y / Z feature,” he said in February. “It will be a pebble and almost exactly as you remember, except now with open-source software that can modify and improve you. More hardware details will be shared in the future.”
With the announcement of Pebble a few hours, we do not have to wait long and to discover what the company has in store.
