Peshawar:
The inhabitants of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa kept their concerns about the situation of the law and the order on Sunday, while they rushed to the markets to shop “ Chaand Raat ”, in particular by feeling on the bracelets and the henné stands on the eve of the celebrations of Eidul Fit.
A dynamic and lively scene took place through Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, in particular Peshawar, as girls, accompanied by their families, rushed into stores, adorned with brunts and colorful lights. The peak of shopping activity started after Iftar.
The girls flocked to the stands to buy brilliant bracelets, vibrant clothes, perfumes and matching shoes, all in preparation for the joyful occasion. On “Chand Raat”, it was clear that the spirit of celebration had seized the city.
At the heart of Peshawar, in particular on the cantonment markets and animated markets of the Jinnah market, a sea of women and girls has created a colorful tapestry, which makes it impossible to ignore the high demand for traditional Eid accessories.
Henna and bracelet stands, now a permanent element on many markets, overflowed with excitement while buyers impatiently explore a dazzling fan of bracelets in all imaginable colors. “Shopping for bracelets and henna always doubles the joy of Eid,” said Malaika Bibi, a 12 -year -old client.
For Bibi and many other girls, the tradition of spending the whole night of Chand Rat visiting markets with friends, buying accessories and hand decoration with complex henna designs is a darling ritual.
