The Nathan Hot-Dogs champion “ motivated ” by the return of chestnut
The competitive eater Patrick ‘Deep Dish’ Bertoletti joins ‘Fox & Friends First’ to discuss his preparation for the Nathan Hot-Dogs restoration competition of this year and defending his title against the 16 times the winner Joey Chestnut.

The return of Joey Chestnut to Coney Island on July 4 could have come with a little wrinkle.
Chestnut was not eligible to compete during the Nathan Hot-Dogs restoration competition last year following a dispute from his signature with impossible Foods.
However, with weeks to lose, the teams have all concluded an agreement to obtain the goat of the restoration competition in Brooklyn on independence day.

However, the chestnut will be joined by the people for the ethical treatment of animals (PETA).
In a press release sent to PK Press Club Digital, Peta said that “Tommy Tofu and his Peta friends will be there during the famous Nathan Hot-Dogs catering competition, distributing hundreds of tasty vegan hot dogs as they challenge hungry spectators to enjoy a free and tasty fourth that is also suitable for animals.”
“The vegan hot dogs are delicious and kind, and who really wants to support the slaughterhouses – the word is sufficient – by buying what comes out,” said Tracy Reiman, executive of Peta, in Tmz. “Peta encourages everyone to let freedom ring all by leaving animals in peace this July 4 and beyond.”

Nathan hot dog restoration competition: Joey Chestnut goes to Coney Island as a big favorite
Chestnut actually treated a demonstrator during the competition before. Halfway through the 2022 event, the demonstrators precipitated the scene – at least one carrying a Dark Vader mask – while wearing panels that read “exhibits Smithfield Deathstar”. Smithfield is a large food processing company in Smithfield, Virginia, specializing in pork products. Nathan’s famous is a all-bef Frank.

Last year, Peta planned to “bomb the spectators of the competition” and brought a truck to encourage fans to become vegans.
Chestnut is, obviously, the crushing favorite of the event on Friday, because he won 16 of the last 17 competitions in which he competed, losing only against Matt Stonie in 2015. His record is 76 dogs and breads.
