Pete Davidson looks less tattooed in latest snap with daughter

Pete Davidson’s tattoos are gone in new snap

Pete Davidson gives his fans a rare and intimate look at his life as a new father, and the moment is grabbing attention for more than just its tenderness.

In a recently shared shirtless photo, the comedian appears with dramatically faded tattoos as he cradles his newborn daughter, indicating how far along he is in his long and painful tattoo removal journey.

The snap was shared on Sunday by Davidson’s girlfriend, model Elsie Hewitt, who shared a series of photos of the couple holding their baby girl.

In the remarkable photo, Davidson is seen rocking his daughter, holding her gently as she rests in a blanket.

Most of the tattoos that once covered his torso are noticeably lighter, reflecting years of ongoing removal treatments. Hewitt simply captioned the post: “MY BEST FRIENDS.”

The couple welcomed their daughter on December 12, and Hewitt announced the birth on Instagram.

This is the first child for Davidson, 32, and Hewitt, who have been dating since early 2025.

As Davidson transitions into fatherhood, fans are also seeing visible progress in another deeply personal change he’s spoken about openly: removing most of his more than 200 tattoos.

Earlier this year, Davidson explained on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon how intense the process was.

“I burned them,” he said. “They burn a layer of your skin, which then has to heal for six to eight weeks.”

He added: “You can’t go out in the sun. And then you have to do it, like, 12 more times.”

Although he plans to keep only two or three tattoos, the one he has no plans to remove is Hillary Clinton’s.

Remembering a conversation during an appearance on The breakfast clubDavidson said: “What was cute was when I had them taken off, she hit me and she was like, ‘You’re not taking them off, are you?’ I was like, “Of course not, of course. Hillary stays.’

He added: “She loves it.”

Davidson never sugar-coated the process, bluntly stating that removal “sucks” and offering advice to others: “If someone is really considering getting a tattoo, I would recommend thinking about it for a few years because your feelings change, you know?

Today, with faded ink and a newborn in arms, Davidson appears to be entering a very different and meaningful chapter in his life.
