Pete Davidson reflects on his difficult start on Saturday Night Live.
In a recent conversation on HotThe 31 -year -old comedian recalled his first sketch on Snl It did not go as planned, even if he presented the legend of the comedy Jim Carrey.
“My first real Jim Carrey sketch organized. I was so excited because he is Jim Carrey, one of the legends, and we wrote this sketch where it is like a zombie apocalypse,” he recalls.
Davidson explained the sketch, which was titled Zombie Apocalypse High SchoolHe played as Son Zombie de Carrey. But things did not land with the public as planned.
“The sketch bombed in a high sky. And it’s long, as if it was six minutes. I eat D ***,” looked Davidson back. “The only thing that made people laugh … He strikes me with a bat and has had a pop.”
Carrey then continued to hit him with the bat to save the sketch.
“Jim is a comic strip, so he knows if it works … So the rest of the sketch, he continues to cry with this nerve bat, then it started to hurt,” recalls Davidson.
“At one point, as a zombie, I went” Aargh, more “”, he added. “It’s online if you want to watch a 20 -year -old crumble with his idol.”
