An emotional discourse of a mourning father led the golf star of Liv, Phil Mickelson, to call the judicial system.
Mickelson saw the testimony of Stephen Federico at a meeting of the house’s judicial subcommittee on Monday in Charlotte, North Carolina, after the death of Inyna Zarutska stab on the light trail of the city less than two months ago.
The daughter of Federico, Logan, an aspiring 22 -year -old professor of Waxhaw, North Carolina, visited friends at the University of South Carolina when “Career Criminal” Alexander Dickey would have burst into a Cypress street house on May 3 and would kill her.

Dickey had been arrested 39 times with 25 crimes. Federico shared his sorrow and explained why he continues to put pressure for a change in the legal system.
Mickelson was clearly moved, republishing Federico’s remarks on X with his own message.
“The judge (s) who let this person leave should be held responsible and in prison,” wrote Mickelson.

Federico’s testimony was raw and emotional.
“Think of your child to go home with an evening with his friends, to lie down to sleep, to feel someone enter their room and awaken them. Treat them out of bed, naked, strength on their hands with their hands on their heads, begging for their life,” he said, fighting tears.
“She had 5 feet 3 inches, she weighed 115 pounds. Bang! Dead. Why? Because? Because Alexander is Dickey, who was arrested 39 Goddamn Times, 25 criminals, was on the street. … You will be sick and tired of my face and my voice until it repaired.
Federico later appeared on “The Ingraham Angle” by PK Press Club, where he explained his mission.

“I fight for Logan. I must be Logan’s voice because no one else will be. I have no one who fights for his justice. Someone must fight for the innocent people who are left here. We have to make drastic changes in our system. People like Alexander Dickey should not be on the street-people know it.”
The Sheriff’s Bureau of Lexington County confirmed that the Dickey’s criminal record had lasted eight agencies. It was reserved 11 times between 2013 and 2025, faced with several charges of burglary and flight. A conviction for burglary in the first degree in South Carolina leads to a minimum prison sentence of 15 years and to life prison.
Federico said the system had given Dickey more rights than his daughter.
“They cared more to make sure that it was not put in prison than to worry about whether he was going to hurt someone,” he said. “His crimes degenerated each time he made him a new one. He finally graduated from the jackpot and has executed our daughter. We always try to hear our Southern Carolina lawyer to see if he will get the death penalty or not. Obviously, he checks all the boxes she makes.

“But they are more concerned with keeping criminals away from prisons and institutions than to try to rehabilitate them. You cannot rehabilitate some of these guys, it’s just impossible.”
