Phil Mickelson rents Elon Musk in x post

While Elon Musk continues to lead the Ministry of Government Effectiveness (DOGE), a legendary golfer is held in his corner.

The agency continued to eliminate waste, fraud and corruption in the federal government since President Donald Trump took office in January.

Phil Mickelson posted on social networks on Tuesday that he thought that the American people should be grateful for the work of Musk.

“It is incredibly kind and generous of Elon Musk to help America become fiscally responsible. We all owe it a huge debt of gratitude,” he posted. “Nicola Tesla was not appreciated while he was alive despite his many contributions to humanity. I hope that Elon will be shown the appreciation he deserves during his lifetime.”

Mickelson wrote the message while quoting an article in which Musk was cited on Fox Business saying that Doge Savings “at this stage exceeds $ 4 billion per day”.

Earlier Tuesday, DOGE announced that it had disabled more than 200,000 credit cards linked to more than a dozen federal agencies following an audit showing that they were not used or useless.

Last month, Musk spoke at the first meeting of Trump’s office and said that he was trying to find $ 1 billion of savings per Doge to help reduce national debt, about 36.5 billions of dollars.

Musk has targeted what he described as 2 dollars with deficits, declaring that America “simply cannot support” this amount of the debt. He told Fox Business that savings could reach 1 dollars “unless we are arrested.”
