“No amount of tax can help CA until the fraud problem is resolved. CA fraud makes MN look like amateurs,” Mickelson wrote.

“Instead of stopping the fraud and theft and getting the money back, the plan is to raise taxes on the country’s already highest-taxed citizens.”

In response to a local opinion piece about the proposed billionaires tax, Mickelson later wrote: “How about we not create new taxes until the government gets rid of the fraud.” In the meantime, more taxes will only fund more fraud. »

WALZ’S FORMER RIVAL SAYS FRAUD HAS ‘FEEDED UP’ WITH MINNESOTAANS, DEMANDS ACCOUNTABILITY

“The dilemma for all Democrats is that if you end fraud, illegal immigration and voter fraud in California, then the Republicans will win in California and have a huge majority nationwide. The Democratic Party is on the verge of extinction,” he wrote.

Trump drew more attention to California’s fraud allegations in a Truth Social article Wednesday, once again saying the situation is worse than Minnesota’s, referring to California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who have been at the center of his state’s recent fraud scandal.

“There is more FRAUD in California than in Minnesota, if that’s possible. Add in voter fraud and they’re tied for first. Two crooked governors, two crooked states!” Trump wrote.

Newsom’s office responded with a statement on X.

“Donald Trump is a deranged, habitual liar whose relationship with reality ended years ago. It’s not complicated. He spends his days publishing all the garbage his shriveled little brain can spew out – and [PK Press Club] conscientiously treats it as the Lord’s Scriptures,” the statement said.

“Meanwhile, in today’s world where adults rule, [Gov.] Gavin Newsom has cleaned up. Since taking office, he has blocked more than $125 BILLION in fraud, stopped criminal parasites running away from taxpayers, and protected taxpayers from the exact type of crooks Trump celebrates, excuses, and pardons. Gavin Newsom runs a state. Donald Trump runs his mouth and his little fingers.”

On Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced it would freeze all child care payments in Minnesota, amid increased scrutiny over fraud accusations involving Minnesota child care centers.
