Phil Mickelson is known for his incredible short match and his precision around the green, but the six times major champion fired the harsh with a socket on Scottie Scheffler and was burned for this.
In mid-March, after Joaquin Niemann won his second Liv golf tournament of the year at this point, Mickelson went to social networks to rent Niemann while searching for Scheffler.
“Top 5 (world player)? Try # 1,” said Mickelson.

Scheffler was at the time and was currently Golfer No. 1 in the world, but that did not stop Mickelson.
The 54 -year -old man doubled on his hot catch, saying that Scheffler, despite one of the most dominant seasons in the history of the PGA Tour, would not win in 2025 before the Ryder Cup at the end of September.
Scheffler had not yet won a tournament this season while he was recovering from a bizarre hand injury, but the 28 -year -old became nuclear during the CJ Cup Bryon Nelson tournament. Scheffler won the tournament and finished 31 under the peer and equaled the score record of 72 holes of the PGA Tour.

Scheffler won the tournament by eight blows, and Mickelson, with a boost from former Masters Champion Trevor Immelman Online, had to recognize his catch.
“So, I could have started on this one,” said Mickelson with a pair of emojis laughing.
“Congratulations to Scottie for great performance.”

The victory that was revolutionary was the 14th PGA Tour career victory in Scheffler’s career. Although he has not yet won this year, Scheffler entered the tournament last weekend in Texas with five top 10, including a fourth place at Masters.
The first victory of the Scheffler tournament of the 2025 season was delivered with the PGA championship at the corner of the street, while the tournament begins at the Hollow Golf & Country Club quail on May 15.
Mickelson should also participate in the PGA championship, a tournament he won twice in his career (2005, 2021).
