Phillies Ace Zack Wheeler sidelined with a blood clot, not very clear status

Zack Wheeler will miss at least some of his next departures scheduled after the Philadelphia Phillies have placed their AS on the 15-day injured list on Saturday after learning a diagnosis of blood clot.

Dave Dombrowski, president of the Phillie baseball operations, said that the blood clot is located near Wheeler’s shoulder.

No calendar was defined for the return of the Triple MLB All-Star.
