An altercation animated between Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI), lawyer ShoaiB ShoaiB Shaheen and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry, broke out at Porte 5 of Adiala prison, causing slaps and verbal abuses SATURDAY.
The two leaders first exchanged hardwords, Chaudhry accusing Shaheen of being an “agency planing”, what Shaheen retorted, “your own business,” said Express News.
The confrontation then intensified with Fawad Chaudhry slamming Shoaib Shaheen, dropping the head of the PTI on the ground.
The prison staff intervened to break the fight. Fawad Chaudhry has then entered the prison premises, while Shoaib Shaheen has undergone an arm injury since the fall.
Lawyer Pti Nadia Khattak, who witnessed the incident, condemned Chaudhry’s actions, declaring that physical violence was unacceptable despite the differences. She expressed a relief that Shaheen did not suffer any serious injuries.
