The banker Zafar Masud, one of the two survivors of the PIA 2020 plane accident in Karachi, shared memories of this fateful day that resulted in his memories, Siege 1c: the story of hope of a survivor, the resilience of the renewal.

The book, written in collaboration with Syeda Amna Hasan, was launched on Saturday at Lahore Literary Festival.

When he was asked what inspired him to write the book, Masud replied: “In fact, I thought they are learning if unique that God will like, nobody should ever have to face them or face it. I wanted to share my post -crash learning – to tell people what it does when you approach death, how your life changes and what should your life priorities be.

Masud was questioned on the path of a life without regret, in particular for those who wanted to devote themselves to their faith. He explained that there is no single answer, because the priorities of each individual vary according to personal preferences.

Instead, he stressed the importance of choosing priorities that generate a positive impact and benefit the community, ensuring that personal ambitions are not prosecuted to the detriment of happiness, prosperity or well-being of others.

By concluding the session, Masud urged: “If you did not attend our session or you were unable to look at it, you should certainly buy the book – he has a lot to teach and offer.”
