An scrap between the players of the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Strait Pistons on Sunday evening spread into the fans and led to several ejections.
The incident occurred in the second quarter with around 8:36 to do in the first half. Piston striker Ron Holland II threaded the ball with the hand of T’Wolves Naz Reid after committing a fault. Reid stirred his finger in Holland while talking to him, and it was from there.

Wwolves Donte Divincenzo goalkeeper intervened between the players and caught the Holland jersey while the group was moving into the fans sitting near the basic line. The head coach of the pistons JB Bickerstaff and the head coach of Ténée Chris Finch were each on the ground trying to cool the tensions.
While the players were separated, the deputy coach of Minnesota Pablo Prigioni and Bickerstaff began to shout on it and had to be separated.

“Obviously, things went too far,” Bickerstaff told journalists. “But what you see are the guys who are looking for each other, the guys trying to protect each other, the guys trying to get his back. … They are not negotiable in our locker rooms.”
Five players and two coaches were ejected from the match, including Bickerstaff, Holland, Reid, Divincenzo, Prigioni, the Pistons Marcus Sasser and the Isaiah Stewart center. The game itself had 12 technical faults, most of an NBA match since March 23, 2005, according to the optastats.
“I thought that leading this the game was far too physical,” said Finch. “It’s unfortunate, but we knew it was a super physical team. They hit you, they keep you, everything you want your physical teams to do. But I just thought it happened to a point where players were going to take matters into hand. You never want that.”
