The first “Sahut bazaars on the go” will be established along the roads of Punjab while the chief minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif approved the project in principle.

The chief minister set a four -month target for the implementation of the pilot project. As part of the plan, government lands along the roads will be utlilized to establish the Sahut bazaars on the advantages.

Up to 816 stands will be installed in Lahore as part of the pilot project.

The participants in the meeting were informed that the Bazars would be created in Multan Road, Hanjarwal, Manga Mandi, Raiwind, G-1 Market, Faisal Town, Moon Market and Bedian Road. Millat Road, Gulshan Ravi, Shahdara, Shadman and Singh Pura are also included in the project.

Essential edible items will be available for sale in Uniform Cottage stores in bazaars along the roads.

Authorities have said that arrangements would be made to maintain their own environment and safety in bazaars.

It was agreed at the meeting that the project would be launched later in each Punjab Tehsil.

The president of Punjab Model Bazaar Management Company, Muhammad Afzal Khokhar, presented a report to the minister -chief of the program. According to a press release, the CM expressed satisfaction with the implementation of model bazaars during Ramazan.

Meanwhile, chief minister Maryam Nawaz paid tribute to the president of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his team for a reduction in the price of electricity.
