PlayStation: The Concert, an official music event celebrating the brand’s 30th anniversary, faced a wave of cancellations during its European leg in 2026.
As VGC reports, several European venues have either canceled the show or removed it from their websites. This follows a series of US-based events that have been removed from the concert tour for the remainder of 2025, including venues in Chicago, New York, Boston, Philadelphia and more.
These 2026 European tour dates appear to have been initially pushed back from this year. However, March screenings in Germany, Belgium and Switzerland were either canceled altogether or no longer appear at all.
One European venue that appears to continue to hold the concert is the Laszlo Papp Arena in Budapest. Although it appears that most seats are still on sale, which could indicate low interest in PlayStation: The Concert as a whole.
In a statement to VGC, Olympiapark Munich said: “Due to unexpected reasons beyond our control, we regret to inform you that PlayStation: The Concert, scheduled for March 9, 2026 at the Olympic Hall in Munich, will not take place. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. Refunds are available at the original point of purchase.”
Sony hasn’t provided a specific reason for the wave of cancellations, but it’s possible that low ticket sales have led to these European venues getting cold feet. That said, the show still appears to be happening in early 2026 at locations in Los Angeles and Toronto, among others.
We reached out to Sony for an official comment on the cancellations, but have not heard back as of this article’s publication.
