PM calls for the empowerment of young people through technology, education

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to young people on Tuesday thanks to transformative initiatives, stressing their role of the nation’s future.

Addressing the inaugural session of the Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance (Caya) summit in Islamabad on Tuesday, he declared that “the government is fully determined to empower young people through initiatives like our youth program”, which benefited millions of people through Pakistan. “”

The PM stressed that more than 60% of the Commonwealth population includes young people. “Thanks to a vigorous training and the equipment of these hands of technology and modern techniques, they must become big hands,” he said, stressing the importance of preparing young people to create a peaceful future , progressive and prosperous.

He praised the Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance as a vital platform to promote partnerships in the world of world challenges. “As a founding member, Pakistan attaches great importance to the Commonwealth and its institutions,” he noted.

Prime Minister Shehbaz underlined the bulge of young people from Pakistan, stressing the need to provide platforms and opportunities that allow young people to actively contribute to the construction of the nation and the development of policies.

Stressing previous achievements, the PM cited programs such as the “Punjab Education Endowment Fund”, which provided high performance allowances to continue quality education. He also mentioned the expansion of Daanish schools in Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balutchistan and remote regions of the Azad Cashmere.

As part of the youth program, nearly 600,000 laptops were distributed to high -performance students.

In his final remarks, the PM urged young people to “dream boldly, to act with courage, to work tirelessly and to have confidence in the spirit of conviction”. He described them as pioneers who would unlock opportunities for the future prosperity of Pakistan.

During the event, Prime Minister Shehbaz also oath to the newly elected National Youth Council and distributed prices to high achievements in various fields.
