PM is looking for an economic partnership with water

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed Pakistan’s strong desire for raising his “excellent political ties” on Monday with the United Arab Emirates (United Arab Emirates) in a “mutually beneficial economic partnership”, according to an official statement from the Prime Minister’s office.

The remarks were made at a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Water and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The two leaders discussed regional developments and global questions of mutual interest.

During the visit of Sheikh Abdullah, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates signed several understanding of understanding (MOUS) aimed at further strengthening the links between the two nations and promoting collaboration between their business communities.

The United Arab Emirates and Pakistan are undertaking long -standing bilateral relations, with millions of Pakistani working in the Gulf State, contributing considerably to the economies of the two countries. In recent years, water has become one of the key nations that have provided financial support to Pakistan in times of economic difficulties.

The PM office document said Shehbaz reaffirmed the fraternal links deeply rooted between Pakistan and the water built on shared history, mutual respect and solid cultural and economic ties.

He declared that Prime Minister Shehbaz had transmitted his warm greetings to Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates, and the sovereign of Abu Dhabi, and appreciated the continuous support of water in Pakistan in various sectors.

Expressing the satisfaction of the positive trajectory of bilateral cooperation, the Prime Minister underlined the improvement of cooperation in commercial, investment, energy and persons to persons.

On this occasion, Sheikh Abdullah Al Nahyan appreciated the contributions of the Pakistani community to the United Arab Emirates and reiterated the determination of his country to deepen bilateral links and to explore new paths for collaboration, said the document.

Meanwhile, he affirmed the commitment of water to strengthen relations with Pakistan in various sectors, including trade, investment and aviation, during his official talks with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar.

Sheikh Abdullah expressed his satisfaction that the relationship between the two countries increased. He particularly mentioned that “things have evolved faster” in the past year. He said that the leaders and peoples of the two countries wanted to further develop this relationship. “Pakistan is close to our hearts,” he said.

In his remarks, Dar said that the two countries had secular fraternal relations and that there was love and affection between their peoples. He said: “We work together for the benefit and well-being of our two nations.”

After the talks at the level of the delegation, the two foreign ministers signed memorandum of understanding on cultural cooperation and the creation of the mixed committee for consular affairs. They also witnessed the exchange of memorandum of understanding on the creation of the joint affairs council of water-skistan.

Rwandan FM

Pakistan and Rwanda have agreed to deepen their cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, defense, diplomacy and exchanges of people at a meeting between Dar-Prime Minister Dar and Rwandan Minister for Foreign Affairs Olivier Jean Patrick Nduhungirehe.

The two parties had in -depth discussions covering the entire spectrum of bilateral relations. Addressing itself later to the establishment of the common press, DAR said that their talks focused on strengthening existing links and the exploration of new channels of cooperation.

DAR said the two parties also signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of diplomatic training. He added that Pakistan attached great importance to his relations with Rwanda. He said the Rwandan High Commissioner in Islamabad was also inaugurated during the visit of the Rwandan Minister for Foreign Affairs.

Ishaq Dar said Pakistan offered a promising market for Rwandan products. He stressed that exports from Pakistan recognized worldwide such as pharmaceuticals, textiles, surgical instruments, agricultural technologies and sports products had great potential in the rapidly growing economy in Rwanda.

He mentioned that there was great collaboration potential in the field of information and communication technologies. He said Pakistan wanted to join in fields such as digital transformation, electronic governance, fintech and innovation platforms for young people.

On the multilateral front, the Deputy Prime Minister said: “Our cooperation remains robust”. He mentioned that the two countries regularly supported each other at the UN and in other international forums.

Rwandan Foreign Minister said Pakistan and Rwanda shared a commitment to world peace. He noted that the two countries were among the five First Nations contributing to the troops to the United Nations peacekeeping missions. He added that they shared a common desire to work together in various sectors.
