PM Lauds Record 38.3 billion dollars

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his satisfaction with the record increase in funding from the year 2024-25, according to Radio Pakistan.

The declaration comes as Pakistan’s State Bank said on Wednesday that the shipment of workers’ funds for the year 2024-25 had reached a record summit of $ 38.3 billion, marking an increase of $ 8 billion, or 26.6%, compared to the $ 30.3 billion received the previous year.

Data revealed that Saudi Arabia ($ 823.2 million) and the United Arab Emirates ($ 717.2 million) were the largest contributors to payment entries in June 2025, followed by the United Kingdom ($ 537.6 million) and the United States ($ 281.2 million).

According to Prime Minister’s office, Sharif noted that the Pakistanis abroad had sent a total of $ 38.3 billion in funding, marking a record level.

“It is 8 billion dollars more than the funding of funds received during the year 2023-24,” said the Prime Minister. He described the increase of 26.6% as a very encouraging development, stressing the importance of such a significant increase.

The Prime Minister awarded this achievement to the precious contributions of the Pakistani abroad, stressing that it is clearly their confidence in the economy of Pakistan.

Commenting more on the country’s economic trajectory, he underlined the recent positive economic indicators, declaring that they demonstrate the effectiveness of government policies and their alignment to the right management for economic progress.

He also reiterated the strong government’s strong commitment to move from economic stability to sustainable economic growth, emphasizing long -term progress.
