PM launches a week-long anti-political player

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eradicate the country’s polio on Sunday, announcing the launch of a new seven -day national campaign aimed at vaccinating millions of children under the age of five.

Speaking here at the inaugural ceremony, the Prime Minister said that the government, as well as the health authorities, made incessant efforts to eliminate the virus once and for all. On this occasion, he administered Polio Falls to children to officially launch the campaign.

“Today marks the beginning of another national polio campaign. With the grace of Allah, we vaccged children not only here, but across the country, including GB and Azad Cachemire,” the Prime Minister told the ceremony. The campaign will take place until April 27.

Shehbaz praised the efforts of Minister of Health Mustafa Kamal, secretary Dr Malik Mukhtar Ahmed Bharath, the campaign coordinator and front -line health workers for their dedication. “I urge all the parents to cooperate fully with the teams in the field to ensure that each child is vaccinated,” he said.

Recognizing the challenges in certain areas sensitive to security, he said that robust measures had been taken to ensure the safety of the teams and a smooth implementation of the reader. “We have to mobilize communities in all neighborhoods and the street to support this national cause,” he said.

The PM has granted sincere thanks to international partners such as WHO, philanthrope Bill Gates and other stakeholders for their continuous support. “With your cooperation … We will reach a permanent relief of this disease,” he said. (With application input)
