Islamabad:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the government had continued to prioritize inclusive rural development as a key pillar of national progress.
In a message on the occasion of the World Day for Rural Development observed on July 6, he said: “In accordance with sustainable development objectives, we focus on the transformation of rural livelihoods thanks to targeted investments in agriculture, education, health care, infrastructure and vocational training.”
“We take this opportunity to recognize the invaluable contributions of our rural population and reaffirm our commitment to their well-being and their development,” he noted.
