PM registers on capital it park

Islamabad:

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, on the occasion of Pakistan’s independence day, paid a special visit to the technology park under construction here, expressing a very dissatisfaction concerning the slow rhythm of work and ordering the authorities to accelerate its completion.

It was the third inspection by the Prime Minister of the Project, which was initially to be completed by March 23, 2025, but faced delays, said a press release from the Prime Minister’s office.

He reprimanded the officials concerned on site, stressing that the park must be completed in the revised calendar while meeting international quality standards.

“Ensure the supply of world class facilities and double your efforts to complete this project in accordance with original instructions,” the Prime Minister told project managers.

The IT park, composed of two underground floors, a ground floor and nine upper floors, will include office spaces, an incubation center, an business support center, R&D laboratories, a level III data center, an auditorium and parking for 1,200 vehicles. It should create job possibilities for young people, stimulate economic growth, improve the global competitiveness of Pakistan and fill the digital divide.

Friday, Prime Minister Shehbaz rejecting Pakistan’s desire to improve trade and contacts of people to the person with Bangladesh, called to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in political, economic and cultural spheres.
