Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated members of the Federal Government’s negotiation committee and the joint action committee of Azad Jammu and cashmere for having signed an agreement to resolve all questions in circulation.
In a statement, the Prime Minister said that the agreement was a major achievement for Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Cashmire (AJK), restaurant La Paix to protect the rights of the Kashmir people.
“All conspiracies and rumors are now buried, and the problems have been resolved amicably,” he added, congratulating the negotiators for their efforts to establish peace.
“We have always protected their rights, and in the future, their rights will continue to be assured,” he said, urging the people of cashmere not to pay attention to rumors.

The Minister of Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, praised the agreement, calling it “victory” for the people of AJK, Pakistan and Democracy.

Iqbal noted that the joint action committee (Jac) had raised the voice of citizens and that the government, under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, took these concerns seriously.
The confrontation in Azad Jammu-et-Cachemire (AJK) began after the Awami Jammu Cashmire (JAAC) action committee called for a strike with reforms and public facilities, paralyzing daily life while the closed markets, the roads were blocked and the communications were suspended.
The violence broke out in the cities, including Muzaffarabad, Mirpur and Dhir Kot, killing at least nine, including three police officers, with hundreds of injured.
Armed confrontations have been reported between demonstrators and the security forces, while solidarity demonstrations were organized across Pakistan. According to the federal government, led by Prime Minister Shehbaz, trained a high -level negotiation committee, including the main ministers and former AJK leaders.

Several series of talks took place with JAAC, focusing on unresolved questions such as the seats of the Refugee Assembly and the number of ministers. A permanent examination committee and a panel of constitutional experts have been set up to monitor the agreement and ensure that constitutional issues are treated fairly.
The surveillance organization will meet every “15 days” to follow progress, while the expert panel examines unresolved legal problems. The authorities have urged calm, stressing that the peaceful protest is a constitutional right but must not disrupt public order.
The Pakistan Human Rights Commission (HRCP) and Amnesty International have called for impartial surveys on clashes, highlighting the risks posed by communication failures and disinformation.
Most of the requests already responded in previous negotiations, the final agreement has been signed, offering a path to restore normality in the region.
