Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Baku on Sunday for an official two -day visit to Azerbaijan.

Upon Arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the Prime Minister Was Warmly Received by Senior Azerbaijani Officials, included first deputy prime minister yaqub abdulla oğlu Eyyubov, deputy minister of Foreign Affairs yalchin Rafiyev, ambassador of azerbaijan to Pakistan Khazar Farkhadov, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Qasim Mohiuddin and other senior dignitaries.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will hold high -level meetings with the president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and other senior Azerbaijani officials.

Discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral relations, expansion of trade and investment, improving cooperation in the energy sector, synergy of efforts to manage climate change, deepen the collaboration of Defense and promote cultural exchanges.

Several memorandums of understanding (MOUS) and agreements should be signed, further strengthening the partnership between the two countries.

As part of his commitments, Prime Minister Shehbaz and Azerbaijani leaders will also contact the Pakistan-Azerbaijan business forum, scheduled for Monday.

The forum will bring together business leaders from the two countries to explore the coverage and business and investment opportunities, emphasizing business collaboration (B2B).

Pakistan and Azerbaijan share a long -standing bond of fraternity, supported by shared values ​​and common aspirations. This visit underlines the commitment of the two nations to deepen their bilateral links, to improve economic cooperation and to promote regional collaboration.
