The PM office also declared that Sharif had welcomed the constructive role of the former tribal in the preservation of national unit and underlined the need for a sustained basic commitment to ensure that terrorist groups remain isolated and not taken care of. He also pointed out that development initiatives must reach the local population to really empower Balutchistan.

The declaration cited by the Prime Minister said: “We must ensure that the delayed effects of government development packages benefit each citizen. The inhabitants of Balutchistan played a historical role in the safeguard of the integrity of Pakistan, and we count on their continuous vigilance against the subversion sustained abroad. ”

The PM office also indicated that the two leaders had welcomed the bravery and resilience of security personnel and law enforcement organizations operating in Balutchistan. Prime Minister Sharif assured the families of martyrs to the state support of the state and promised that the officials of terrorism – including their facilitators and compensation – would be brought to justice.

The JIRGA concluded with a unanimous commitment from the former tribal to stand in the shoulder with the government and the armed forces, reaffirming their commitment to peace, security and development in Balutchistan, added the press release.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Shehbaz visited the command and Quetta staff, where he addressed students and members of the faculty. According to an official statement, the visit stressed the government’s commitment to improve professionalism and strategic preparation of Pakistani defense institutions.
