The Iranian president, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, appreciated the coherent and principle of Pakistan on Tuesday during the recent Middle East crisis, while Tehran and Tel Aviv accepted a cease-fire of the United States.
The assessment occurred during a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who reiterated Pakistan’s support for Iran during international forums, including the United Nations Security Council and the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC).
According to the Prime Minister’s office, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of joining international law and the United Nations Charter by all parties. He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace, calling dialogue and diplomacy as the only viable path to de -escalation.

The two leaders underlined the need for unity among the Ummah Muslim during what they described as a particularly difficult period.
The conversation took place in the context of a cease-fire agreement mediated by American president Donald Trump, following discussions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. US vice-president JD Vance and other officials also had parallel discussions with Iranian representatives.
A senior White House official, speaking under the cover of anonymity, said that Israel had accepted the ceasefire provided that Iran refrains from launching other attacks. The truce was to be implemented in phases, allowing the two parties to conclude all the operations in progress.
However, the fragile agreement appeared on Tuesday, while Trump accused Iran and Israel of having violated the truce. In an article strongly written on his social platform of truth, he warned such Aviv against a new escalation.
“Israel. Do not drop these bombs. If you do, it is a major violation. Bring your drivers back to home now! ” Trump wrote before leaving for a NATO summit in Hague. Addressing journalists on the way, the American president expressed his frustration, saying that he was “not happy” on each side, in particular Israel.

Iran, for its part, strongly denied the accusations that it had shot missiles after the start of the ceasefire. Iranian state television described the claims of “false and unfounded”, saying that Tehran has remained attached to the truce.
Despite Tehran’s denial, the Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz ordered strikes on key targets from the Iranian capital after the Israeli army has announced the detection of missiles from Iran earlier.
The incident sparked air raid sirens in northern Israel, just hours after Netanyahu had publicly accepted the American cease-fire proposal.
