Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s political and public adviser, Rana Sanaullah, said the government would take into account the humiliating defeats in Pakistan in the ICC 2025 champions trophy and their early release of the tournament.
In a conversation with a private television channel, Rana Sanaullah, a senior Pakistani Muslim League official – Nawaz (PML -N), said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would personally address the performance of the national team. He would raise the question in the cabinet and parliament concerning the problems related to the cricket.
Rana Sanaullah also mentioned that if Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is an independent organization and can make its own decisions, it would personally urged Prime Minister Shehbaz to raise the question of the cabinet and the parliament. He also declared that this question was not limited to the appointment of a president.
Asked about the wages of PCB officials, Rana Sanaullah stressed that high -ranking officials are paid up to 5 million rupees per month, which was confirmed by the media.
He stressed that many officials were not aware of their responsibilities and were paid without fulfilling their functions.
Regarding the advantages and privileges of PCB officials, Rana Sanaullah expressed its astonishment, saying that one might wonder if these people belonged to a Pakistani institution or a developed country.
He said these problems in the PCB have been underway for years, individuals taking care of power and doing everything they liked. This led to the current deterioration of the state of Pakistan Cricket Board.
It is important to note that Pakistan organized an ICC event for the first time in 29 years, but the national team was only eliminated four days in the tournament.
The shots were faced with defeats against the rivals of New Zealand and the traditional rivals of India.
However, Pakistan had to play its last match of the Bangladesh tournament today, but it was abandoned due to bad weather.
