PASRUR:

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while saluting the recent military triumph of India as a “historic victory”, praised on the armed forces on Wednesday for “Avenger la war in 1971” during operation Bunyan-Un-Marsoos.

Accompanied by military brass – including the general chief of the army Asim Munnir, the marshal of the air chief Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu – and his cabinet ministers, the Prime Minister visited Pasrur Cantt in Siackot to congratulate the exceptional bravery and professionalism of the troops during the decisive battle against India.

Sharif paid tribute rich to the value, professionalism and unshakable resolution of the armed forces.

Taking an excavation to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sharif said that the world knows who formed Mukti Bahini in 1971. “Today, the same link is seen in support of groups like BLA and TTP, and it brings back to Modi.”

He warned that the red lines of Pakistan, in particular concerning the Water Treaty in Indus (IWT), should not be crossed. “If you dare stop our water, remember: water and blood will not flow together,” he added, addressing the Indian chief.

The Prime Minister accused Moda of having sponsored acts of terrorism in Pakistan, including an alleged involvement in the attack and unrest of Samjhauta Express in Balutchistan.

“Mr. Modi, who formed Mukti Bahini and turned on the fire in the division in East Pakistan should not give us conferences on terrorism,” added Sharif. “We have undergone more than 90,000 civilian victims and $ 150 billion in economic losses due to terrorism.”

He reiterated that peace and development are the main objectives of Pakistan. “We are looking for peace, but that should never be misunderstood as a weakness,” he said. “We are ready for peace – and we are ready for war. The choice belongs to you.”

While opening the door to future talks with India, the Prime Minister stressed that no dialogue could be unilateral. “There will be no trade with India unless it is part of a complete dialogue. The cashmere remains unresolved according to the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, and this must be addressed.”

Referring to Operation Bunyan-Un-Marsoos, Prime Minister Sharif described this as “courage and value” that he has committed to document in his autobiography.

“Our soldiers gave the enemy an appropriate response,” he said, stressing that no thumbs of territory has been sold despite difficult conditions. “The body commander told me how our courageous men held the ground and pushed the enemy in an unfavorable situation.”

He applauded “the extraordinary effort” of Pakistan Air Force to neutralize enemy fighter planes, saying that it was a practical demonstration of the advanced military capacities of Pakistan. “The world now recognizes Pakistan’s supremacy not only in the conventional war but also in the technical war,” he added.

The Prime Minister thanked the military management for their meticulous planning and coordination during the conflict. “I have personally witnessed General Asim Munir’s efforts, whose aggressive and tactical leadership turned the trend. The head of air Zaheer Babar regularly informed me of the technological end that our air force holds, which was obvious on 9 and 10 years.”

He said recent military performance had become a source of pride for friendly countries and was studied by military experts for years. “The management of our armed forces has become venerated. I am proud of them and the nation is held behind them like a rock.”

He recalled his speech prior to Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, where he invited India to authorize an international transparent commission to investigate the alleged terrorist incident in Pahalgam, only to receive what he called an “ignoble night attack” in response.

“We also eliminate terrorism on our western border,” he added. “If you attack us again, which will be destroyed.”

By concluding his speech, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peace and development, but warned that any other assault would respond to an overwhelming response. “The lesson for the Modi regime is as follows: our armed forces have exerted a restraint not out of fear, but discipline. We are ready for everything that can happen. Pakistan will remain prospered until the day of judgment.”

He finished with a call to Indian management to sincerely act for regional peace. “Stop deceiving your people. Come to the table with honesty – or face the consequences of your arrogance.”
