PM, the president reaffirms the commitment to eradicate drug abuse

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari reiterated their unwavering commitment to eliminate drug abuse and strengthening collective efforts to fight threat, stressing the importance of a united front to fight against this omnipresent question.

In their separate messages on compliance with international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking, the two leaders called for concerted efforts from all stakeholders, including government institutions, civil society, private sector and international partners, to eradicate the drug addiction of the company.

Shehbaz, in his message, recognized the seriousness of the question of drug abuse, recognizing the continuous efforts of the government to fight the threat.

He stressed that if the government is fully aware of the challenges, the success of these efforts will ultimately depend on the collective resolution of individuals, society and the wider community.
