Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Turkiye, Iran, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Friday, just two weeks after Pakistan and India have reached an American basic cease-fire after a military conflict.
The first first Sharif is expected to travel from May 25 to 30, during which he will hold bilateral talks with leaders of the four countries on regional and international matters of mutual interest.
FO spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said the Prime Minister also expresses Pakistan’s gratitude to support these fraternal nations in the middle of recent tensions with India.
The Prime Minister will also attend the international glacier conference in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on May 29 and 30, he added.
