The Pakistan Meteorological Department issued an early weather warning, providing for rains and thunderstorms in Karachi and other parts of the Sindh on Monday and Tuesday.
According to the Met Office, certain suburban areas of Karachi can receive showers accompanied by thunder on Monday evening or Tuesday. Tuesday, the winds were expected during precipitation in the peripheral areas.
The ministry said that a western meteorological system affects the country’s higher regions, while the winds loaded with humidity enter the eastern parts of the Sindh.
Under its influence, the light dispersed in moderate rain with thunder is probably in districts such as Ghotki, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Qambar Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Khairpur, Dadu, Naushahro Feroze, Shaheed Benazirabad and Tharparkar.
Between June 16 and 17, precipitation is also expected in Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Hyderabad, Matiari, Thitta, Sujawal and Badin.
Meanwhile, time in Karachi should remain hot and humid with a partially cloudy sky over the next three days.
The maximum temperature can vary between 36 ° C and 38 ° C. Humidity levels can reach up to 80% in the morning and 55% in the evening.
On the other hand, PMD said that a west meteorological system would continue to affect the country until Monday.
While most Punjab will remain hot and dry, isolated areas, notably Mrier, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan, can see the storms of dust and forces. Scattered rains are also expected in cashmere.
