Islamabad:
Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced the schedule for the admission of medical and dental colleges (MDCAT) 2025, confirming that the national exam will take place on October 5 at 10:00 am.
According to the official notification, students will only be allowed to appear for the MDCAT in the province corresponding to their home. The PMDC stressed that this policy is strictly applied to maintain transparency and logistical coherence through the examination process.
Registration for the exam will open on August 8 and will continue until August 25. However, candidates who are missing the regular deadline will have the possibility of registering online with delay costs until September 1.
The registration fees for local candidates have been set at 9,000 rupees, while those who apply with delay fees will have to pay 13,000 rupees. For candidates who appear from abroad, standard registration fees are RS45,000 and RS55,000 with delay costs.
The MDCAT 2025 will include 180 MCQ, with 15% of the questions designed to be a higher level of difficulty.
