Lahore:
With the main PTI actually pushed out of the political ring by the powers in place, the Minister of Information and Culture of Punjab, Azma Bokhari, said on Saturday that the electoral tickets of his party were “hot cakes” while taking a blow during the opposition party for having opted for the next elections.
AZMA said that the Parliamentary Council of the Muslim League of Pakistan (PML-N) (PML-N), the Nawaz League Parliamentary Council organized an in-depth discussion on the partial elections and the organization of the internal party, adding that nearly 15 aspirants were in competition for each seat.
Stressing that the final decision to allocate parties is based only with the Supremo of the Nawaz Sharif party, she said that the role of the parliamentary board of directors was limited to the recommendation of the most appropriate candidates.
She also added that the party invited the suggestions of those interested in contesting the next partial elections and that another session of the Parliamentary Board of Directors will soon be summoned to finalize the decisions.
By targeting the political rivals, she joked that PTI has already fled the arena of the by elections, unable to find candidates willing to take the ground against PML-N. She added that even if PML-N was fully prepared and united, the opposition remained seized of confusion and disarray.
