Punjab Minister of Information, Azma Bukhari, criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) for having failed to attract a large crowd during his recent Gathering in Swabi, saying that even with official resources, the Party could not bring together 5,000 people.
Bukhari said the people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) rejected the founder’s policy of “troubles and chaos”.
She alleged that government employees had been made to mark the attendance of the event, but the participation rate has remained low.
“Junaid Akbar has miserably failed his first political test, while Ali Amin Gandapur once again used to coarse to please the founder of PTI,” she said.
She also claimed that young people in Punjab had initiatives such as electric bikes and scholarships, and that the young KP population deserved the same opportunities.
She announced that the leader of the PML-N Maryam Nawaz would soon present scholarships for the students of the province.
Bukhari added that after the failure of the uprisings of May 9 and November 26, the public had tired of the PTI protest policy, saying that Pakistan was on the path of recovery under the leadership of sharifs.
On February 8, PTI organized a rally in Swabi, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, to observe “Dark day “marking a year since the general elections. The party alleys that its mandate during the elections was stolen.
The rally also brought together Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur and other party leaders.
