Politicians united against Indian aggression

In the aftermath of the strikes of India in Pakistani territory, the political leadership of the country adopted a united front, condemning the targeting of civilians as a loose act and congratulating the rapid and decisive response of the armed forces.

Strongly reacting to Indian assault, the vice-president of the PPP, senator Sherry Rehman, said that while “Modi has started war, Pakistan will end it”.

She called on attacks against Muzaffarabad, Kotli and Bahawalpur “unfinished”, saying that India had revealed its “harmful creations” through its missile strikes. “However, Pakistan will not remain silent.”

Meanwhile, in a statement published on Wednesday, the central secretary of central information, Sheikh Waqas Akram, declared that the law of aggressive by India represented a blatant violation of international law, the sovereignty of Pakistan, the fundamental human rights and the established principles of the war.

The PTI leader stressed that the reckless actions of India have not only contravened the Charter of the United Nations and international standards governing interstate conduct, but also constituted a serious threat to regional peace and stability.

In a special video message, Ji Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that India cowardly enemy had attacked in the dark of the night, as did in the past. India has targeted mosques and civilians, and it was essential to teach it a lesson.

He appreciated the Pakistani army for his responsible and suitable response and assured the government of the full support of his party to the country’s defense.

The main minister of Punjab and leader of the PML-N, Marriyum Aurangzeb, said that the nation greeted the valiant Pakistani armed forces for their rapid and decisive response to the assault.

“In retaliation for India loose attacks, targeting innocent civilians, mosques and vital assets such as the Hydro project in Neelum-Jhelum, our forces responded with unmatched force and precision.”
