Rawalpindi:
The organizations of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) announced a hunger strike camp outside the presidency, Governor House and the Martyrdom site of Benazir Bhutto to protest against friends, business partners, parents and domestic workers to meet the president Asif Zardari.
PPP organizations have also announced a major protest demonstration on the Martyrian site of Benazir Bhutto. The decision was made by PPP workers, the Federation of Students of Peoples, the Labor Office of Peoples, Managers and Workers of Women of Women of the People’s and PPP cell at a meeting held in a local Hotel of Committee Chowk Rawalpindi under the chairmanship of the former provincial candidate and Central Chief Banaras Chaudhry.
Tauqeer Abbasi, Iqbal Khattak, Tariq Waheed Butt, the candidate of the Assembly Adeel Malik, Tahir Ikram Chaudhry, the district secretary of the district Muhammad Shahid, the head of the Women Gulnaz Badshah, the advisor Rabia and Shazia Batool were also present in Reunion. While addressing the rally, he said that instead of workers who have made sacrifices, the former MD Baitul Mal Aamir Paracha took his business partners, his friends, his knowledge, his employees and some workers to the Milan party at the president’s residence.
Dedicated workers were not even informed of the event. They accused the “selfie mafia” of having caused irreparable damage to the PPP group of Rawalpindi. They said that while workers went to prison and made sacrifices when the opportunity arose to meet the leadership, Aamir Paracha took his friends and associated with the event. They said they have made a sacrifices for the party for 30 to 50 years.
They demanded that President Asif Zardari, President Bilawal Bhutto and Aifa Bhutto hold courts open to Islamabad workers two to three times a week and listen to their grievances directly. They allegedly alleged that certain elements having access to management provide them with misleading reports.
