The murder of Mustafa Amir, who was killed by his knowledge, took his turn with the revelation he had appeared in court a few hours before his death.

According to reports, the anti-swarming court had withdrawn the name of Mustafa Amir from a drug related to drugs before his death. The investigators confirmed that Miring died following his appearance before the court on January 6, 2024.

Amir, who had been arrested on January 31, 2024, obtained a deposit on March 20, 2024, with the co-accused Noman Yaqoob.

However, arrest warrants had been issued for him until February 22, 2024, due to his involvement in the case.

The legal proceedings also shed light on two associates of Amir – Mian Ammar Hamid and Faisal Yaqoob – who are currently sought in the case.

Earlier, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) extended the accused’s pre-trial detention in the kidnapping and murder case of Mustafa Amir for five more days.

The accused – Armughan and Shiraz – were presented before the ATC inside the central prison after the completion of their initial dismissal on Thursday.

The accusation informed the judge that other stages, including declaration 164 and the identification parade of Armughan employees, had not yet been carried out.

Defense lawyer, lawyer Abid Zaman, has raised concern, asking that his client Armughan is authorized to sign a power of attorney.

Armughan’s mother also asked for permission to meet her son, but the judge said that the meetings could only take place in the courtroom, not outside.

When the judge asked the accused he wanted as a legal representation, Armughan expressed his wish to be represented by Abid Zaman and Tahir Ur Rehman.

However, the judge ordered him to file a proxy for a single lawyer at a time. Armughan finally chose Abid Zaman as an advisor.

Advocate Zaman also filed a request for medical examination from his client arguing that Armughan is in poor health and requires treatment.

Armughan said he was denied access to food and bathrooms for days in police custody. He alleged that the police laughed, laughing at his situation and telling him that his prolonged detention had been extended.

The defense lawyer explained that the accused was disturbed and sick, which led him to make these statements.

The court took note of these complaints and ordered a medical examination for Armughan. It was also revealed that the girl who would have been tortured by Armughan had been located and that DNA tests would be carried out.

Police informed the court that they had not yet received a defense notice for the 164 declarations of the witnesses, but the investigation was underway.

Armughan himself protested against his pre-trial detention, alleging that he was harassed by the police. However, the investigating officer (IO) said that the accused refused to cooperate when he was initially produced before the judicial magistrate.
