Islamabad:
On Friday, the world observes the International Education Day, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stressed Friday the need to deploy modern tools such as artificial intelligence with responsibility.
The president, calling for responsible use of artificial intelligence to revolutionize the education system, said that in the AI world, human will, creativity, critical thinking and decision -making should be priority.
The president, in his message on International Education Day being observed during the day, said that AI -based tools could help adapt the learning process to individual needs.
Stressing the theme of this year, “AI and education: preserving the human agency in a world of automation”, it called for the use of education to carry out a prosperous, inclusive and progressive Pakistan.
In his separate message, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed the determination of the government to advance an education system which adopted the promise of artificial intelligence while protecting the essence of human creativity, compassion and goal.
The Prime Minister recognized educators, defenders and partners working tirelessly to light up lives with the light of knowledge.
“On this international day of education, we are thinking about the deep role that education plays in the empowerment of individuals and communities to sail in the rapid progress of technology.”
