President, the Prime Minister pays tribute to Quaid the 77th anniversary of death

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised Quaid-Ezam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on Thursday “unrivaled leadership and altruistic struggle” to ensure the dignity and independence of the Pakistanis.

On the occasion of its 77th anniversary of death, the day was observed with prayers, tributes and a renewed commitment to maintain its principles of unity, faith and discipline.

The Minister of Sindh, Zia-Ul-Hassan Lanjar, said that Jinnah’s message on unit and resilience had remained a fire director for the nation. “Pakistan is the result of the dreams and sacrifices of Quaid-Ezam, which we must all protect,” he added.
