President Asif Ali Zardari approved the 2025 Bill of Anti -Dutch functions (amendment), according to President Secretariat Press Wing.
“Following its approval, the functions will be in force from July 1, 2020. The bill was sent to the president after being adopted by the National Assembly and the Senate,” the press release said on Sunday.
He added that the bill had been approved to provide legal clarity concerning the taxation of anti -dumping tasks on projects funded by Chinese subsidies. The decision of this amendment was made at the Reunion for the Review of progress for Gwadar projects in October 2022.
Anti -dumping rights are special prices on imports sold below the fair value, aimed at restoring fair competition and protecting the national industry against injuries.
The modification of the anti -dumping law on rights, gives a retrospective effect to the exemptions of anti -dumping rights for products imported in foreign subsidies. He specifies that the exemptions introduced in 2022 apply from July 1, 2020.
The change deals with the rights billed during the year 2020-21 and 2021-22222 on imports from the Pak-China Friendship hospital and Gwadar International Airport, both financed by Chinese subsidies.
