President Asif Ali Zardari expressed strong support for the armed forces of Pakistan on Saturday following missile attacks not caused by India, while tensions between the two nuclear neighbors continue to degenerate.

President Zardari congratulated the soldiers for his “exceptional professionalism and bravery” to provide what he called an “adapted response” to Indian assault.
He reiterated that Pakistan, although it was a nation loving peace, had been forced to act to defend its sovereignty and people after repeated provocations on the other side of the border.
“Pakistan has shown considerable restraint, but the continuous belligerance of India has left us any other choice than to respond decisively,” said the president.
He reaffirmed that the whole nation was held firmly behind the armed forces and that Pakistan would protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity at all costs.
Although Pakistan has provided details on its response, India has not yet published an official declaration concerning the allegations of missile attacks or the military operation.
The government called for national unity and expressed its commitment to peace while maintaining its right to defend itself against external threats.

They added that Pakistan has neither forgotten nor forget the sacrifice of these innocent children, who were martyred during cross -border Indian forces attacks this week.
Earlier, the commander of the Indian Air Force Wing, Vyomika Singh, said that the soldiers of India are not attached to the defusment that if Pakistan became soaring as arrow tensions between the two neighbors with nuclear arms pushed them on the verge of total war.
Singh spoke at a press conference on Saturday alongside the colonel of the Indian army Sophia Qureshi and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Vikram Misri after Pakistan launched strikes on Indian targets.
Colonel Qureshi admitted that Pakistan’s reprisals had damaged the equipment and the wounded staff in five Indian air bases – Udhampur, Pathankot, Adampur, Bhuj and Bathinda – after targeting “more than 26 places”.
