Price of petrol reduced by re1 marginal

Islamabad:

Friday, the government announced the reduction in the price of gasoline by RE1 with effect today (Saturday). The price of high -speed diesel (HSD), however, remained unchanged.

In Pakistan, fuel prices are examined and modified with fifteen, respectively, the first and fifteenth of each month.

However, this time, the finance division published a notification for a variation in fuel prices three days before the end of the month.

The price of gasoline was RS255.63 per liter which has now reduced to RS254.63 per liter. The price of the HSD per liter will remain at Rs258,64.

The government, on March 15, increased RS10 oil withdrawal per liter – an increase of 17% – to 70 rupees per liter, keeping the prices of fuel and unchanged diesel, while using the additional budgetary space available to reduce electricity prices by around 1.50 RS per unit. Despite the increase, the old gasoline price remained at Rs255.63 per liter, while the HSD remained at Rs258.64 per liter.
