Inflation on the open markets, Sunday bazaars and roads on the roadside is completely uncontrollable, because the prices of vegetables, fruit and grocery products continue to increase.
The increase in petrol and diesel prices has led to an increase in transportation costs, which increases prices of raw materials.
In the markets, milk is sold at RS220-240 per liter, yogurt at RS240-250 per kg, chicken living at RS400 per kg and chicken meat at Rs600 per kg.
The eggs are at the price of RS316 by dozen, the sheep at RS2 400 per kg and the beef at Rs1 400 per kg.
Among the legumes and the grains, the white chickpeas are RS400 per kg, the RS550 puree, the Dal RS330 chana, RS400 rice and cooking oil and ghee between RS500 and RS550 per kg. Sugar is sold at Rs190 per kg.
The prices of vegetables have also increased sharply with potatoes at RS100, onions to RS110, tomatoes at RS350, peas to RS380, local lemons to RS350, from coriander to RS50 by peppers to rs150, bitter gourd at Rs140, eggplant at Rs100, garlic at RS380 and ginger at rs600 per kg.
Fruit prices have also increased sharply with apples sold to RS200-350 per kg, bananas at RS120-200 by dozen, Kinnow and Oranges at Rs200-250 by dozen, melons at RS170 per kg, RS300-400 grapes per kg, Sundarkhani at RS550, Papaya at RS400, Cocon at at at RS550, papaya at RS400, Cocon at at RS550, papaya at Rs400, Cocon at at at RS550, papaya at RS400, Cocoon at at RS550, papaya at RS400, Cocoon at at RS550, papaya at Rs400, Coca RS450 each, peaches to RS300-400 RS200-300, pears at RS250, Kings at RS200 and Grenates at RS350-450 per kg.
